I was one of the initial product designers intern to join Blubirch and help the company grow to a massive scale.

I’ve worked on a lot of projects and a wide variety of projects. A few small ones, a few big ones, and a few massive ones. In this case study, I am going to talk about one of my massive projects which also happens to be one of my favorite ones. I was the sole designer who owned this project and worked on it from start to finish. But I did collaborate with a lot of other people for this project.

  1. Product Managers: To understand the whole scope of the project and its requirements. There were a lot of new things we were introducing like the Gamification, logistics estimate, Order Status and revamping a few of the existing flows such as the Product details and database.
  2. Stakeholders: To get timely feedback on my designs and the design direction.
  3. Engineers: To ensure that the final output matched the design exactly.

About the company

Blubirch helps in creating value from returned or excess inventory by automating the grading process to get the best value from the overhead inventory.

Why this Redesign

After massive growth in the user base, they encountered with user experience issues with the app where users were getting confused. Each user had a time to place a bid and has to be updated regarding his status about the same. But it was completely outdated and not great in terms of functionality. I mean, you know how initial built tools look are right 😛

Hence, we decided to revamp the entire portal from the ground up.

I’d love to show you my Figma file but I am not allowed to do that 🙈
