Vault Tab is a Chrome extension that replaces your new tab page with a personal productivity canvas.

Data storage All user data (widget layouts, notes, habits, streaks, timer state, mood logs, calendar imports) is stored exclusively in Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. No data is transmitted to the extension developer's servers.

Permissions used

• Storage: to save your widget layout and content locally.
• Identity: to optionally connect Google Calendar. Your OAuth token is used only to call the Google Calendar API and is never stored or shared.
• Geolocation: to show local weather. Your coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) and OpenStreetMap Nominatim for reverse geocoding only when the Weather widget is active.
• Bookmarks: to display your existing bookmarks in the Bookmarks widget. The extension only reads bookmarks; it never modifies them.
• Notifications: to alert you when a Focus Timer session ends.

No tracking, no analytics Vault Tab contains no analytics, no telemetry, and no advertising. The developer receives no information about how you use the extension.
